Set in a beautifully landscaped rain forest, the Jungala Aqua Experience is a luxury, outdoor water park designed to entertain all ages. Spending a day at Jungala Playa del Carmen is one of the best things to do in Riviera Maya for families. If you are looking for a fun family day that involves sun, shade, water activities, a spa, and great food – check out this Riviera Maya attraction.
Jungala Playa del Carmen is located on the grounds of the Vidanta Riviera Maya Resort in Mexico. The park has 3-levels of dizzying water slides ranging from kid-friendly to extreme. Onsite there is a wave pool with waves up to 1.5 meters high, the longest lazy river in Latin America, and a mega-sized interactive kid’s play area.
The water park's vine-wrapped trees, hidden lagoons, and cooling waterfalls make for a tranquil setting. In addition, Jungala Riviera Maya ramps up the relaxation quotient with a full-service spa, hot tubs, lazy river with pool bar, personalized concierge service, and VIP luxury cabanas for rent. Within the park there are many snack and drink options to enjoy as well as a store for park essentials and souvenirs.
The Jungala Aqua Experience is open to the public and Vidanta Riviera Maya guests. Vidanta limits the park’s capacity so it is never overly crowded and visitors experience less lines. Read on for all the information you will need to enjoy a day at this spectacular Riviera Maya attraction.
