Where is Mohegan Sun
Mohegan Sun is within a 3-hour driving distance of four east coast cities: Boston, Hartford, New York, and Providence. The resort is situated a few minutes from Interstate 395 in Uncasville, Connecticut.
Mohegan Sun Opening Hours and Days
The Mohegan Sun hotel is open 24-hours a day. The casino complex is open 365 days a year with varying seasonal hours (generally between 9 -10am and 7-11pm). The casinos close between 1and 2am.
When to Go to Mohegan Sun
Mohegan Sun CT is primarily an indoor facility that is open throughout the year. July and August are the resort’s busiest months.
How to Get to Mohegan Sun:
By Car: Mohegan Sun CT is located a short distance from Interstate 395. It has a well-paved, 4-lane road leading to the resort. Research prices for rental cars here.
By Bus: There is no direct bus service to Mohegan Sun. Charter buses from many major cities in the northeast run frequent charters to the resort.
By Train: Trains from locations throughout New England run to New London, CT. From here, it is a 20 -minute uber/taxi/charter bus ride to Mohegan Sun CT.
By Air: The nearest airports to Mohegan Sun are Bradley International (Hartford CT) and Green International (Providence RI). From here you can catch an uber/taxi/charter bus to the resort. Research prices for airfare here.
Mohegan Sun Parking
With over 13,000 spaces, parking is plentiful and free at Mohegan Sun. There are covered garages by the Earth Tower Hotel and Sky Tower Hotel as well as many open-air lots (with free shuttles to the casinos). Handicap parking and electric vehicle charging is available at selective locations.

Mohegan Sun Arena: The 10,000 seat Mohegan Sun Arena hosts premier sporting events (boxing and basketball) as well as headlining acts such as Billy Joel, the Eagles, Dave Matthews, Keith Urban, and Taylor Swift. The arena’s box office is open daily from late morning until 8pm.
The Wolf Den: The Wolf Den is an intimate bar in the center of the Casino of the Earth that offers free performances from entertainers such as Ludacris, the Marshal Tucker Band, and the Gin Blossoms.
Comix Road House: The Comix restaurant and comedy club has a western theme. Entertainment is mixed throughout the week with karaoke, bull riding, and Roadhouse dancers performing on different nights. The venue’s comedy club offers shows Wednesday through Sunday. The menu is full of Texas style food, craft beers, and whiskeys.
